Thanks a lot for this show really enjoy it.
If I can suggest something is to give suggestion (links) for the equipment you use like the mixer, the mic etc maybe for small budget and big one. Maybe podcast on that buying equipment

With all the podcast I see and I want to start my video podcast soon I am always confuse for choosing equipement from lighting to mic, the thing is when you go to the shop the saleman always want to sell you the big expensive stuf.

I'm using an Audio Technica boom mike connected to my XL2. However, I find the audio levels are pretty low even when controlled manually.

The only way I get a decent level is to hold the mic pretty close to the subject. I'm talking about 7-8 inches away. Is this normal positioning?
