what's going on boys. I'm a big fan of yours from you tube. I have a question. What do you guys think about the new HD poor man's camera the Canon HV20. Is it worth all the hype?
D
Good show, guys!
great content, glad i found this. keep it up!
The HV20 delivers a decent picture quality for the price class, and has a 24p function, but because it uses a small image sensor and does not give you iris or shutter control, i would spend a little more and get a camera less suited for the novice operator and more aimed at someone who is learning to shoot.
Thanks for the info on the HV20. So what camera would you guys recommend?
What would be a reasonable option if you couldn't afford a PD 150 or an DVX 100a?
Or would one just have to bite the bullet and save?
I think you can get some very interesting effects by hooking a digital projector to your camera's output and projecting it onto your cyc while the camera is pointed at the wall with the subject in front of it. With the right lighting it appears like the old infinite mirror where the subject is repeated into infinity. It takes some experimenting with offset between camera and project along with lighting on the subject but not the wall to get the effect perfected.
? What is the Cyclorama made of and where can I get all the materials to build one?
Great stuff guys!
