It's amazing how much lighting goes into something like that. Very cool to get an inside look at the process.

Yo Matt,

Great series.

How would you film a live stage show?

Talking community/university level stage.

Can it be done effectively when you don't have control of the lighting or sound and say have to keep your camera stationary and probably not in the "sweet" spot of the theatre. But, you have to film it under those conditions. Naturally, if you could set up the cast and crew for filming it as a film project and control the set that would be the best but, most of the time this is not possible...especially with armatures.
